We try to achieve the most realistic sound possible while making the instrument easy to play.
The reason that we originally designed the Sub-1 was to allow standup players to be able to travel without the burdensome hassle of carrying around a real standup.
In addition we wanted an instrument that could be played at loud stage levels without feedback.
The body was designed with this in mind. Extra extentions increases the size and make the bass more cumbersome.
Most players get used of the body rest that comes with the bass and like the ease of playing up the neck without the body in the way. We also make a stand which is most useful when playing bow style. The stand supports the bass in the proper playing position.

我々は演奏が楽に出来るという事と同様に、最も大事なリアルなサウンドについ てもこれまた成し遂げようとしました。我々がSUB-1を設計した理由はスタンドアッププレイヤーが大変面倒でやっかいな本当のスタンドアップベースを持ち運び廻り旅行しなくても良いという事を可能にすることでした。
それに付け加え、うるさいステージレベルのサウンドの中でもフィードバックし ない楽器が欲しかったのです。
BODYはこれを念頭において設計されました。余分な付属部分が大きさを増してしまい、結果扱いにくくしてしまいます。大抵のプレイヤーはボディレストを使うとBODYが感じられず、ネックが単純に強調される事を好みました。　
また、ベーススタンドは最もボウ（弓弾き、アルコ）スタイルの時に有用なよう に製作致しました。このスタンドはプレイ時に適切なポジションでベースをサポートするものです。
