Light weight mahoghany has a warm resonant sound when a maple face is
attached it gives more center to the sound.
The bolt on and set neck have similar sound qualities. The set neck can allow better access to the higher registers. Its easier to service bolt on necks (repacing or dressing frets.)
Carved top or flat top have guitars can sound the same if made of similiar materials. Most players like the look of a carved top better.
The hardtail transfers the most sound into the body.
The stop tailpiece is traditional on carved top guitars. The stop tailpiece has adjustable height that allows changing the downbearing on the bridge. This affects playability, tuning, string breakage and tonality.

ボルトオンもセットネックも良く似たサウンドの特徴を兼ね備えていますが、セットネックにすることで、ハイポジションは更に弾きやすくなります。ボルトオンではその後のメンテナンスが楽です。（フレット打ち替え調整や磨き）
フラットトップでもアーチトップでも、同じマテリアルを使うならば同系統のサウンドを持たせられます。大抵のプレイヤーはアーチトップのルックスを好みます。
ハードテイルはボディの中に最も多くのサウンドを伝える方法です。
カーブドトップにはストップテイルピースを用いるのがトラディショナルです。 ストップテイルピースは下部にベアリングがあり、上下する事で弦高の調整が出来ます。これらはチューニングやプレイヤビリティー、弦の寿命、そしてトーナリティに影響を与えるものです。
